Following our collaboration with PARISA and the South East Asia Study Centre at Brunel University, I had the pleasure of attending an inspiring and thought-provoking session that explored the challenges and opportunities for South Asian Muslims to thrive within British society.
Dr Mohammed Amin delivered a powerful and deeply personal talk, reflecting on his journey—from his academic beginnings at Cambridge to holding leadership roles across various sectors. His insights highlighted the importance of initiatives like the Farsi Action Foundation and the vital role of fostering understanding and building bridges across communities.
I’m truly grateful to have been part of such a meaningful conversation, and to have met with Migration Menu podcast hosts, James Staples and Dr Luke Heslop, to explore future collaborations that support our shared commitment to community engagement and empowerment.
We also recognise and appreciate the important work of Mr Zeshoun and Mrs Houri Nouri, whose dedication to uniting communities and addressing key issues plays a crucial role in inspiring the next generation of the South East Asian immigrant community to succeed in the UK.
